Where is Ballard Beer Box? 2446 NW Market St, Seattle, WA 98107, in the middle of Ballard, a short walk from the National Nordic Museum.
What are your hours? Monday 2pm to 9pm, Tuesday to Thursday 12pm to 9pm, Friday and Saturday 12pm to 10pm, Sunday 12pm to 9pm. Holiday changes are posted on our website and Google.
Do you take reservations? No, we are walk-in only. You are welcome to call us on (206) 268-0939 and check how busy we are. For private events and group bookings, get in touch.
Do you take cash? No, we are card only. We take credit and debit cards and contactless payments.
Is there parking? Street parking on and around NW Market Street.
Are you wheelchair accessible? Yes, with a step-free entrance from the sidewalk.
Do you show sports? Yes. We show Seahawks and Kraken games, and pizza, beer and wine are all available to go on game days.
Are dogs allowed? Yes. Dogs are welcome inside at the bar and tables, and on the patio. Ask us for water for your dog anytime.
Can I bring my kids? Yes. We are a family restaurant serving beer and wine. All ages, no cutoff time. We do not have a separate kids menu or high chairs at the moment.
Is the patio covered? No. It is open air, with big umbrellas for summer sun. On wet days, come inside.
What kind of pizza do you make? Hand tossed pizza on organic Washington flour dough, made fresh here. Slices and personal pies are available all day, and whole pizzas to stay or to go.
Do you have vegan pizza? Yes. The Maui Wowie is fully vegan, made with vegan mozzarella and soyrizo, and our dough is vegan too. Vegan mozzarella and soyrizo can go on any pizza.
Do you have Indian pizza? Yes, two: the Grand Masala (curry tikka masala and paneer, vegetarian) and the Desi Chicken Tandoori.
Do you have gluten free pizza? No. Our cheese and sauce are gluten free but our dough is not, so we cannot offer a gluten free pizza.
Can I order ahead? Yes. Order online for pickup, or through Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub for delivery.
How many beers do you have on tap? Fourteen, and they rotate constantly. What is pouring today is on our Untappd page.
What pour sizes do you do? Sixteen, eight and five ounces, so you can try something without committing to a full pint.
Can I buy beer to take home? Yes. We are a bottle shop too. Our fridge has fourteen doors of craft beer, cider and mead, natural and organic wine, and a proper non-alcoholic range, all at store prices to take home.
Do you fill growlers? Yes. Bring your own clean growler and we will fill it from the taps. We do not sell growlers.
Do you have gluten free or non-alcoholic beer? Almost always gluten free beer and cider in the fridge, and always a non-alcoholic range. Sometimes there is a non-alcoholic beer on tap too.
Can I drink a can or bottle from the fridge here? Yes. We open it and pour it for you: $2 corkage per can, $5 per bottle of wine. Wine corkage is waived Monday to Thursday from open until 5pm. No outside drinks.
What wine do you have? Mostly natural and organic wine, by the glass and by the bottle, including the house red, white and rosé.
Do you have a happy hour? Yes, on wine: Monday to Thursday from open until 5pm, $2 off a glass of house wine and no corkage on any bottle from the fridge.
What events do you have? Free bingo every Monday night and free trivia every Tuesday night. No booking and no team size limit.
Do you do catering or large pizza orders? Yes. Take 15% off any to-go order over $150 placed directly with us with a day's notice. Plates, napkins and utensils are included, and one pizza feeds about two people.
Can I book a private event? Yes. The patio holds about 50 and is free to reserve any day. Inside holds about 41, and the whole room can be booked on weekday afternoons, Monday to Thursday from noon to 4pm.
