Nine pizzas is enough to be interesting and few enough that we can make all of them properly. They all start the same way, with organic dough, hand tossed and made fresh. After that they go in fairly different directions.
Here is how we would steer you.
Order the Queen Margherita. Tomato, parmesan, fresh basil, aged and fresh mozzarella, Sicilian sea salt. There is nowhere to hide on a margherita, which is exactly why it is the one to judge us on.
The Cheese Pizza is the same argument with even less on it.
The Grand Masala. Curry tikka masala, marinated paneer, garlic, red onion, cherry peppers and fresh cilantro. It is the pizza The Infatuation singled out, and there is very little like it in Seattle.
If you want the hotter version of the same idea, the Desi Chicken Tandoori has fresh Thai chilli in it.
The Pepperoni Godfather. Cups that curl and crisp at the edges, with hot honey over the top. It is not a compromise order.
The Maui Wowie is fully vegan, not a cheese pizza with the cheese removed. Vegan mozzarella, soyrizo, garlic, cherry peppers and pineapple. Vegan mozzarella and soyrizo can also go on anything else on the menu, and any pizza can be built without cheese.
Slices and personal pies, both available all day. The Caesar travels well alongside if you are sharing.
One pizza feeds about two. Our dough is light, so people eat more of it than they expect. Ten people is around five pizzas, which is roughly where our group discount starts.
Fifteen percent off any to-go order over $150, with a day's notice, plates and napkins included.
2446 NW Market St, in the middle of Ballard. Dogs welcome inside and on the patio, all ages, no cutoff time. See the full pizza menu or come for happy hour, Monday to Thursday until five.
