The tap wall at Ballard Beer Box

Fourteen taps that never stay the same

We pour from Pacific Northwest breweries and whoever else is making something worth drinking. In autumn that means fresh hop beers straight out of the Yakima Valley, and they do not last.

Craft beer in Ballard, changing constantly

Fourteen rotating taps means there is almost always something you have not had before. IPAs and hazy IPAs, lagers and pilsners, saisons and farmhouse ales, porters and stouts, sours and cider.

Three pour sizes

Sixteen, eight and five ounces. Try something without committing to a full pint, which is the point of a rotating list.

Fresh hop season

For a few weeks each autumn, hops go from the field in Yakima into the kettle within a day of picking. Green, bright, and gone quickly.

Check before you come

The list changes constantly, so we keep it on Untappd where it stays accurate. See the current taps.

Bottles worth hunting

Alongside the taps we keep bottles you will not see in many places. Cantillon lambics when we can get them, and other things worth opening slowly.

Beer and wine to go

Three doors: cider and mead, natural and organic wine, non-alcoholic. The fridge changes every week and holds far more than we could list here.

  • Cans and bottles from local and further afield
  • Natural and organic wine by the bottle
  • A proper non-alcoholic shelf, not an afterthought
  • Take it home, or drink it here
